How To Rotate PDF Pages - Fix Sideways Scans In Seconds
Scanners and phone cameras have a knack for producing PDFs that open sideways. The text is there - you just can't read it without tilting your head.
Rotate PDF fixes that in one click. Pick the angle, the file updates in your browser, and the result is a PDF that opens correctly in every reader.
Three Rotation Options
90 degrees clockwise handles the most common case - a scan that came out rotated to the right. 180 degrees flips a PDF that opened upside-down. 90 degrees counter-clockwise covers the less common left-rotated case.
All three options apply to every page in the PDF. Per-page rotation is on the roadmap; for now, if only some pages need rotation, Organize PDF lets you rotate page-by-page through a thumbnail view.
Will The Rotation Stick When I Print
Yes. Rotate PDF updates the rotation flag in the underlying PDF structure, which every PDF reader and printer honors. The page renders correctly on screen, in the print preview, and on the paper.
This is different from rotating a single view in your PDF reader, which only changes how that one program displays the file. Rotate PDF makes the change permanent in the file itself.
How To Use
Drag your PDF onto Rotate PDF. Pick the rotation angle. Click Rotate. Download the result. The original file on your disk is untouched - you get a new, rotated copy.
If you need to undo, run Rotate PDF again at the inverse angle. Or just keep your original.
Privacy
Rotation runs in your browser via pdf-lib. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is logged. The rotation completes in well under a second on most documents.
Tired of tilting your head every time you open a scanned PDF? Run it through Rotate PDF once and the problem is gone.
